Facts

Frank Allen, 54, worked at a Radio Shack located in San Francisco. He ran the store since 1998, but was fired in 2010. Later, a 23-year-old took over his job. He sued Radio Shack Corp., alleging wrongful termination and age discrimination.

Plaintiff alleged the younger worker told him that the company wanted an employee with "younger ideas." He also alleged that while working as a manager, he doubled the store's sales and won awards and performance bonuses.
