Facts

The City of Los Angeles filed a civil law enforcement action against Sky Tag Inc., a sign company, alleging violations of City building and safety codes. The City argued that Sky Tag violated multiple city laws by posting large "supergraphic" signage on the exterior walls of buildings without obtaining required permits, approvals, and inspections.

Result

The parties settled for $1.2 million.
