Facts

Regina Potascher, an incompetent, was struck by a laundry cart that was owned, entrusted, controlled and maintained by the hospital while she was a patient at a hospital. She sustained injuries as a result thereof and her conservator, Kim Schwarcz, filed a complaint against City and County of San Francisco, The Regents of the University of California, Stuart Gillis on her behalf.

Potascher suffered an injury from being struck by a laundry cart at the hospital.

Result

Potascher and the City and County of San Francisco agreed to settle for $87,500.
