Facts

Kerbi Urbanowski sued Jason Marandas and Tiffany Marandas, in connection with an incident that occurred on June 13, 2012.

Contentions

PLAINTIFF'S CONTENTIONS:
Plaintiff alleged that on June 13, 2012, she was at Jason and Tiffany Marandas' home in San Francisco when Jason took a crossbow and shot an arrow into her right eye. Plaintiff claimed she suffered injuries that were severe and serious, as a result of Jason's action. Plaintiff alleged that the Marandas were liable for her injuries.

Result

The jury found Jason Marandas negligent, and awarded Urbanowski $17,000 in past economic damages, and $125,000 in past and future pain and suffering, for a total recovery of $142,000.
