Roxanne Nozolino sued Hartford Life and Accident Insurance Co. and others for equitable relief and benefits under her group long-term disability insurance policy.

Contentions

PLAINTIFF'S CONTENTIONS:
Nozolino was a participant in an employee welfare benefit plan, sponsored by Hartford. Although Nozolino was a covered beneficiary, and was totally disabled within the terms of the plan, Hartford refused to play her disability benefits.

Result

The court granted summary judgment for the defendants.
