Contentions
PLAINTIFFS' CONTENTIONS:
Comcast allegedly failed to pay Customer Account Executives all wages owed for work performed from Dec. 29, 2007 through Oct. 2, 2015. In so doing, Comcast allegedly violated the Pennsylvania Minimum Wage Act and the Pennsylvania Wage Payment and Collection Law. Plaintiffs also asserted a claim for unjust enrichment.
DEFENDANTS' CONTENTIONS:
Comcast denied the allegations.
Result
The parties reached a $3.7 million settlement, of which, about $2.3 million would be available for distribution to eligible class members. As part of the settlement, Comcast agreed to pay eligible class members in an amount to be determined by a formula.
