CLAIMANT'S CONTENTIONS:
Respondents allegedly lost her money due to respondents' negligence and unlawful conduct.

RESPONDENTS' CONTENTIONS:
Respondents denied claimant's allegations and asserted a statute of limitations defense.

Damages

Peltier sought $308,847 in compensatory damages and $1 million in punitive damages.

Result

The FINRA Panel determined that the matter was eligible to proceed to arbitration and, ultimately, found respondents Cullum & Burks and Roberts jointly and severally liable to Peltier in the amount of $275,987 plus interest.
