Plaintiff Lydia Aragon was driving north on Wadsworth approaching 19th Street when she was struck in the rear
by BarteeÆs vehicle.

Settlement Discussions

There was a $6,000 final demand preceded by a $17,000 statutory offer of settlement. There was a $1,500 final offer before trial preceded by a $500 statutory offer of settlement.

Injuries

The plaintiff alleged thoracic outlet syndrome, retinacular tear of the left knee, stress fracture in the left ankle and aggravation of pre-existing injuries to the back, neck, shoulder, arms and hands, numbness in forearms and hands and closed head injury with cognitive deficits.
