Erdenebadrakh Galindiv sued Jung Soon Lee in connection with a motor vehicle accident.

Contentions

PLAINTIFF'S CONTENTIONS:
Plaintiff alleged that on Feb. 28, 2010, he was driving into an intersection at which point a crash with Lee occurred. He argued that he had a green light, whereas Lee had a red light, which she passed and then smashed into the driver's side of his car. He claimed she was negligent in her driving.

DEFENDANT'S CONTENTIONS:
Lee argued that she had a green light when she drove into the intersection and that plaintiff had a red light, which he ran.

Damages

Plaintiff sought $6,500 in past medical expenses and $5,000 due to damage to his car.

Injuries

Plaintiff suffered cervical disc injury, bruises neck injury, soft-tissue injury, strains, and sprains. He required chiropractic injury.

Result

The jury awarded plaintiff $11,500, because it found Lee entirely liable.
