LOS ANGELES - The young Orange County woman was lost when she made an illegal U-turn on a dark street in Los Angeles' West Adams neighborhood late one night three years ago. She was trying to find her way home after a get-together with friends from USC when a uniformed officer with the Los Angeles Unified School District pulled her over.
