      TORRANCE - On career day at Alhambra High School, a young Laura Ellison chose to shadow a local judge.
      "I spent the day at the Alhambra Courthouse," Ellison said. "I saw the attorneys in the courtroom, and it looked very exciting. It looked like a job where no two days would be alike."
