VAN NUYS — Judge Bert Glennon Jr. has been on the bench long enough to know having parties walk out of a settlement conference without everything they want may be the best option.
“I’m not here to decide who’s right or who’s wrong,” he said. “What I tell them is that we’re looking for a mutually disagreeable number, which nobody likes to hear, but it works.”
